Sparked by Milliken Gives, our associates continue to inspire us with their generous and impactful actions within their respective communities. Each of our global facilities organizes volunteer opportunities, and supplies and donation drives to benefit local organizations of their choice. By encouraging our associates to give back in the ways most meaningful to them, we see countless deeds for the betterment of the communities in which we call home.

Our work in the community is never finished, and we are always looking for new ways to strengthen our hometown ties. Thank you to all of our associates who participate in ways great and small - we share just a few of the many stories of their work below.

The Milliken Foundation, along with associates based in our LaGrange, Georgia, facilities, presented a check to the Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter. The money – made possible in part through associate donations – will help the shelter continue to provide vital community services to the area.

To help local students, associates at our Pendleton, South Carolina, facility hosted a winter back-to-school drive for Pendleton Middle School. These supplies benefit both the students and their families as associates connect with their local community.

As part of their Women in Networking group, associates from across our facilities came together at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas home to spend the day cleaning the house and preparing a meal for the guests. Families with children at the local children’s hospital are given a place to stay at the Ronald McDonald House that is close to the hospital – taking one thing off their mind during their time at the hospital.

Magnolia associates helped judge the sixth-grade science fair at Blacksburg Middle School. A hallmark of our work as an innovative company, science and technology are a core tenant of our research and development. Promoting science in our local schools encourages students to think outside the box as students explore this important subject.
