Over the past few weeks, we’ve witnessed the overwhelming devastation created by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and their impact on the lives, homes and businesses of our neighbors and friends. From catastrophic flooding to punishing wind and rain, members of our communities are now facing the tremendous task of rebuilding.

The generosity of our associates defines our community-minded culture at Milliken. We are inspired by their concern for others, rallying to help those who need it most. As a company, we contacted organizations on the front line of responding to these crises to determine how best we, as a Milliken community, can help.

Listening to the advice we received, this week, Milliken launched a $100,000 matching gift campaign to the American Red Cross. For every dollar given by our associates to this organization, Milliken will match those donations. No matter the contribution amount, all levels of support will help the Red Cross offer immediate and meaningful assistance to those who need it most.

Those impacted by these unprecedented storms face even more uncertainty in the coming days. As members of those communities, we hope to offer peace of mind in some small way as we unite to help our neighbors. This donation is only a first step towards recovery, and Milliken will continue to offer meaningful support in the coming weeks and months.
