This year at Milliken has been filled with many exciting moments – from celebrating our 150 anniversary as a company to receiving awards that honor us as innovators and community members. Below are some of our top moments at Milliken during 2015. We look forward to achieving more milestones with you in the New Year.

  1. Celebrating our 150th milestone year at all Milliken locations around the world
  2. Being named one of Ethisphere Magazine’s World’s Most Ethical Companies for the ninth consecutive year
  3. Winning R&D 100 Awards for the fourth consecutive year and having four Milliken innovations as finalists for five awards
  4. Winning the Future Materials Award for Most Innovative Large Size Company
  5. Receiving the InnoVision Award for Technology Development and having another technology as a finalist
  6. Being named No. 13 among the consulting industry’s 50 fastest-growing firms
  7. ‘Doing good’ in our communities at home and around the U.S. by supporting the Red Cross South Carolina Flood relief efforts with a $100,000 donation and supplies drive and raising more than $32,000 for foster children with MilliCare’s Month of Care CHAIRity event
  8. Celebrating our associates’ families during Family Day on Roger Milliken’s 100th birthday
  9. Expanding our company by acquiring Springfield LLC and the assets of Ontera Modular Carpets Pty Ltd
  10. Bringing new solutions to market by partnering with other innovative organizations, including Dickies, to reinvent their classic work shirt, and NASA, to explore flame resistant chemistries in space
  11. Hosting various customers from around the world at our global headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina
  12. Releasing the inaugural Milliken Floor Covering Division Global Sustainability Report
  13. Achieving carbon-negative status from the Leonardo Academy Cleaner and Greener program, which recognizes the Milliken family of companies as a third-party-certified carbon-negative manufacturer
  14. Decreasing our global footprint by increasing the recycled content in our modular carpet collections manufactured in America
  15. Being chosen as Chapman Cultural Center’s 2015 Cultural Champion​
