Over the last several months, we have found inspiration in exploring Milliken through your unique perspective. Everyone, from associates to partners to visitors, is encouraged to share their Milliken moments by using our Discover Milliken hashtag, and those interactions come together to illustrate the anthology of the Milliken experience.

#DiscoverMilliken is, at its core, an open door to Milliken – one we invite you to discover with us. Here are five views of Milliken innovation at work shared through social media. 

Finding purpose in your passion can be as simple as taking a closer look. Milliken Floor Covering’s @vangirl32 shared this image depicting a Novo Art piece hanging in Milliken’s global headquarters. Incorporating hollow-core doors cut cross-wise, this installation sparks the viewer to reconsider what can be achieved through both texture and recycled materials.

With a constant eye on the future of fabric and design, Milliken Specialty Interiors hosted an group of Converse College design students to invite discussion on the role of color and sustainable fabric in design.

In February, @lovegoodcolor presented a color workshop for members of the Specialty Interiors team. While on campus, Laura Guido-Clark snapped this view from the Guest House, where she stayed for the week, which encapsulates the natural beauty of the Milliken Arboretum.

@meicotan shared a look inside the innovative Milliken Asia headquarters in Shanghai, while also encouraging us to think differently about form and function. In what looks like a modernist painting, our Art Media floor covering collection takes center stage as a wall hanging. Created with the modular carpet collection, the pattern reinterprets iconoclastic modern art techniques and media for a larger-than-life welcome to the office.

By repurposing a former Milliken trailer, @spartanburgcommunitycollege now has a hands-on training tool as part of its new Commercial Driver’s License program. We are honored to play a small part in providing viable and long-term educational opportunities for those in our hometown community.
