At Milliken, our associates are dedicated to supporting our local communities. We believe our success as a company and the success of the places where we live and work are inseparable, so we intentionally build our connections within each of our communities for the betterment of current and future generations.

In its second year, Milliken Gives is an initiative fostering meaningful avenues for associates to contribute their time, talent and financial support within various global communities that Milliken calls home. We are pleased to announce that associates who work at our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina, will reaffirm the Milliken spirit of giving by participating in a corporate campaign to benefit the United Way of the Piedmont. Placing an emphasis on the education, health and financial stability of every member of the local Upstate community, the United Way of the Piedmont has long been a part of Milliken’s rich heritage of community support.

This year, our annual corporate campaign will be accompanied by the inaugural Milliken United Way Tournament - a campus-wide competition at our global headquarters where divisions will face off in a series of friendly competitions to be named the 2018 tournament winner. To participate, associates may pledge any amount to the United Way of the Piedmont.

However, donations are not the only way to help our communities. Milliken Gives also encourages giving back through volunteering and community service. Associates from across the globe will host local school supply drives, serve meals and volunteer in other capacities.

At the heart of the program, Milliken Gives encourages all our associates to participate in the way that best connects with them personally. Through supporting our local communities in the present, we hope to make a lasting impact for the future.
