Milliken Community Impact Campaign Raises $500,000 for Local Charities
In our annual community impact campaign, our associates generously demonstrated what it means to ‘do good’ by giving more than $250,000 to local Spartanburg charities. The Milliken Foundation matched associate donations to the four different organizations for a combined impact of over $500,000. This was the largest amount collected in our annual campaign in a decade.
Milliken Named a World’s Most Ethical Company for 10th Consecutive Year
Milliken was honored once again as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere® Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices.
Milliken Donates 20,000 Feet of Excess Yarn to Foster the Arts in Spartanburg
Milliken joined forces with the Chapman Cultural Center to promote the integration of Artlets – designated public areas where residents can create music, draw, collaborate, and connect around the arts – into Northside communities in Spartanburg.

Milliken Sustainability leader Philip Ivey and his colleague, Jennifer Smith, recently embarked on piloting a new LEED v4 credit, MRc4 Option 3, which promotes greater building material transparency for healthier interior environments.

Milliken Maintains Zero Waste to Landfill Pledge for 23 Years
The release of our floor covering division’s second annual sustainability report revealed the fulfillment of our goal to divert 99% of all of the company’s waste away from landfills and to places where it could be re-used or recycled. We are proud of our team’s unmoving stance as an environmentally responsible company committed to the elimination of solid waste, hazardous wastes, and emissions.
